The Everett Street Guesthouse is a lovely bed and breakfast inn and peaceful urban oasis for visitors to Portland, Oregon. The perfect alternative to high priced hotels or sterile motel rooms, there are no frilly curtains, teddy bears or potpourri here. The 1904 Craftsman style home is a warm and welcoming space, filled with art and crafts from the Innkeeper's previous life as a gallery owner. The casual atmosphere invites mornings in your robe, if you like, where you can sip your coffee on the back deck in summer, or in winter, by the fireplace. Included in your stay is wifi, a large deck, 2 sitting rooms, t.v./dvd, and a generous continental breakfast. Additional services which can be pre-arranged are airport pick up or drop off and bicycle rentals, for an additional fee. The guesthouse has two comfortable guest rooms, as well as a separate studio cottage--all within minutes of downtown. Added in 2009, new guest living room on same floor as living quarters with comfortable reading area, t.v., daybed. The inn is walking distance to some of Portland's best restaurants, Laurelhurst movie theater, Laurelhurst Park and public transportation. There's plenty of on-street parking in this quiet neighborhood.

"..gorgeous little hideaway on a quiet residental street in northeast Portland. Innkeeper Terry Rusinow, who once owned a craft gallery in California wine country, has an impeccable eye for interior decor, so public spaces and guest rooms here are beautifully decorated. This little homestay-style inn has only 2 rooms, and recently added a small studio cottage with a kitchenette. When you stay in the main house, you almost feel as though you've rented the entire place. ....the neighborhood has loads of great restaurants within walking distance." 2008 Frommer's Oregon, 6th Edition
